Bombarded daily by

poets, topiarists, cake decorators,

cartoonists, expressive dancers,

all committed to seeing us 

through this toughest of times,

I am reminded of the fact 

that out of the babies enrolled 

in the very first creative immersion 

project in America in the 1960s,

ten percent became serial killer
