Jonathan  reads from his translations of  Pavese, Montale and Velarde including  his translations of  Ramón López Velarde, ‘Mexico’s National Poet’ which  Markings Publications is launching in its latest Pocket Edition
Jonathan  Falla, is as an award-winning dramatist and novelist; he writes plays,  non-fiction, poetry and books of translation,  translating from French,  Italian and Spanish and working particularly on Renaissance texts for  the music group Fires of Love. He was a founder of the Cambridge Poetry  Society and helped organize the first Cambridge Poetry Festival and  has  written three highly regarded  novels, Glenfarron (Pub: Two Ravens)  Poor Mercy (pub: Polygon) and Blue Poppies (Pub: 11.9).
